Earning!

Hi guys,
As most of you probably already know, I'm looking for extra ways to increase income (who isn't these days). Since I spend A LOT of time online, I've found a few things that I enjoy doing, and can earn a little cash from doing. Ok, so it's not like a million bucks or anything, but it's a little something... and it's easy stuff that I like doing anyway. I thought I'd share the latest with you:

It's legit, and it's got a lot of ways to earn- surveys, games, videos, shopping... etc.

The best advertisement!

I think the biggest thing that keeps people from doing something is their lack of faith or lack of belief.

I had a discussion with a Mary Kay director who talked about how her husband believed in HER, but NOT in Mary Kay. She later showed him how great the company was when she was able to buy new tires for his truck out of the money she'd made. I thought that was amazing.

If you are a doubter... let me share something with you:

I read this, and thought, "What better way to advertise!" If this doesn't convince you... I don't know what will.

I talked in earlier blogs about taking a leap of faith. Mary Kay was sort of a leap of faith for me. But it not only took leaping, it took me having faith in myself and the business.

Mary Kay is NOT for everyone. But, the company offers SO much, that it was worth me taking the leap. A company that will buy back your stuff at 90% of the cost if it doesn't work out for you... that's one of the many things that I liked.

There's a LOT more... but for now, I'll let you think on this.

When You Got a Good Thing...

Life is good.

Sure, we could use more money. There's a lot of things we "want" but have to hold out for because we don't have the money. The house could be bigger (but that would be more cleaning!), or newer, or need less repairs.

There's a lot we might think we want to change, but at the end of the day... I'm happy. We're blessed with so much. We're both healthy, we both have jobs (even though they don't pay enough), we have a crazy, yet adorable puppy, we have a roof over our heads, we have food on the table (if I cook-- LOL), we have family and friends who love us and go out of their way for us. We have so much more than a lot of people, so we should really be thankful.

It's amazing how people constantly want more. We don't stop to realize how much we have. We forget how blessed we are.

Some days, I feel really lazy. I don't want to walk the dog, wash the dishes, do the laundry, clean the house or whatever. Today was one of those days. I didn't feel like doing the dishes and cleaning up. But then I stopped and realized that I should value what I have and take care of it.

I really do enjoy having a clean house. I enjoy my husband being able to come home to a clean house, a clean kitchen and food on the table. I've taken advantage of the fact that my husband is such a big hearted guy, that he says he doesn't care... but I want to make this house a place that he doesn't have to worry about and can be comfortable in! I'm not saying that I should do this because I'm a wife. DON'T think that at all. But I feel like I should do more because I should appreciate what I have, plus, I'm at home ALL day everyday while he's at work... so what's stopping me? My laziness!

I need to be more motivated.

Cody hasn't gotten a walk all week.
I haven't worked out in quite a while (my goal is to start Monday!).
I planned on washing blinds this week... that hasn't happened yet (maybe tomorrow).
There's a few "projects" I want to get working on. Just haven't found my motivation yet.

One thing that has gotten me excited and somewhat motivated is my new business. I am passionate about skin care and make up... which is why Mary Kay is a perfect business for me!

I am truly blessed to have stumbled upon such an amazing opportunity. Mary Kay is a thriving business, regardless of the economy (we don't sacrifice our beauty!). Mary Kay is a company that makes you feel good, encourages you to better yourself. I love it because the women I have met are incredibly helpful and giving! I am determined to succeed. I WILL succeed. I love this, and I am excited about it... and I want to share it with the WORLD!

So who wants to try some Mary Kay products and hear about the Mary Kay opportunity??? :) Did I mention there are GREAT perks for working for this company! Contact me if you want to know more!

Ah... perhaps...

Perhaps I spend entirely too much of my free time online.

I Facebook. I tweet. I check my emails and occasionally check out Linked In. I blog (though I should do so more often!).

And then there's the random other things I do:
- Crowdtap! http://bit.ly/qpC794 Lots of cool things to do there, and free stuff!
- BzzAgent! http://www.bzzagent.com Again, COOL stuff. Love getting free products to try.
- SheSpeaks! http://www.shespeaks.com Give product reviews, get products to try, blog about stuff!
-Zoompanel! http://www.zoompanel.com/ballerinababe87@bellsouth.net Participate in surveys, earn free stuff

And this is just a few...

The biggest thing NOW is my BUSINESS! http://www.marykay.com/bsaunders87

I spend a lot of time thinking of ways to promote it, and working on ideas for parties and such.

I love it. I want... no I WILL succeed. I have the drive!

I have a lot going on in my life, and SO much I want to accomplish! I can't wait to see where my journey takes me... but believe me... I'm bringing you along for the ride! :)

Life is full of...

Life is full of, well, a lot of things. There's ups, there's down's, there's questions, there's fears, etc.

There's so much going on in the world around us. And sometimes it can be so easy to get caught up, worrying about the what ifs.

I'm a person who worries. It's my nature, and I hate it. I let my fears get the best of me sometimes. The past year has been full of what I call, "Leaps of Faith". Quitting my radio job to move to Florida (which was a decision Louis and I made together, and it took faith on both our parts!), moving to Florida (away from everything I knew) and now... starting my Mary Kay business.

I have to tell you. I have had my doubts and concerns. I've worried about it. But I really believe that I can do it. I love the company. I love the products I've tried. I love the women I have met, and can't wait to see who else I'll meet. My biggest obstacle for now is getting over ME. I'm always afraid people will see me as pushy if I try to sell them something. But honestly, I don't know why this is such a big thing for me because... honestly, I don't want to push ANYONE to buy. The products sell themselves. I just want to give people the opportunity to try them.

It's a journey. And I'm SO eager to get it going full steam ahead. Without people like you, I wouldn't be able to. So thanks! I'm lucky to have so many great people standing behind me, and an awesome husband standing beside me. And most importantly, I have God on my side. I can't go wrong, now can I? :)

In other news:

I've got a great friend from college visiting-- and it feels SO good. We sat up talking and laughing last night about anything and everything. I love it. It's great for the soul! We're planning on doing some "tourist-y" things like walk around downtown, and OF COURSE, we're going to be beach bums for a bit.

There's nothing quite like having a good girl friend. I can't explain it really. But it's nice knowing I have a friend like her. We don't see each other often, or even talk that often, but she's someone I know I could count on no matter what! I can be myself and we just have so much fun.

If you have a friend like that-- cherish them. Don't let a friendship like that fall to the wayside, because one day, you'll need someone, and that person won't be around. I know that I've been bad about dropping the ball when it comes to friendships, but I've also been on the other side of it. I've tried to uphold a friendship. I've tried to keep in touch. I've tried to be there, regardless of distance. But if both people aren't fully trying... it doesn't work. It's like a romantic relationship. If Louis and I didn't put in 110%, it wouldn't work. Both people have to WANT the relationship to work. It doesn't mean you won't disagree, maybe even fight, but if both people want it to work, it can!

It's hard being on the side of TRYING so hard to keep a friendship, only to watch the other person give it up. It hurts when you think the person really was a great friend, but then they don't care enough anymore.

I've been there when I just got tired of fighting for it. It put so much emotional stress on me. It wasn't worth the fight anymore. It's sad, yes... but there comes a time in life when you really start to see the things that matter, and the things that don't.

That's not to say doors won't be open for those people down the road, but it is saying that it won't be the same. It's like when you've been hurt or cheated on-- it's harder to open that door fully and trust that person not to hurt you again.

The heart is a delicate thing-- even when it comes to friendships. My husband is my best friend, but there is something different about a bond between two girl friends. Sure, maybe the emotions between to females is the reason why there's sometimes fall outs... but if that friend REALLY means something, it won't really matter in the end.

Who's YOUR best friend? Be thankful for them today!

Song of the day:
Things That Matter by Rascal Flatts

Sometimes he lets that boss get in his head
He can't see past that mountain of deadlines on his desk
5oclock he's that last one out of the gate
And he gets cut off flipped off ticked off out on the interstate
And he wonders why this world won't leave him alone
Till he hears that little voice holler “daddy's home”
Things that matter
Things that don't

She's held on to that grudge all her life
Had thirty years of anger
Since her dad walked out that night
She thinks of all the moments that he's missed
All the birthdays ballets first dates
That seems too much to forget
She gets that call that said he don't have long
She walks in
He starts crying
The past is gone
Things that matter
Things that don't

Time ain't on my side
Don't want to leave this world
With why didn't I?
Why didn't I?
Yeah why didn't I?

Sometimes I take on this world by myself
Thinking I got all the answers
Don't need anybody's help
Well god was right there waiting for me all along
To fall down on my knees surrender all
Things that matter
Things that don't
Things that matter
Things that don't
